Grassington House Hotel is a 3-storey Georgian style residence and is noted as one of the area’s most notable historic buildings. It was originally constructed for Mr. Brown, a promoter of the Grassington-Pateley Bridge Turnpike Trust, and later inhabited by the Alcocks, a distinguished banking family. Grassington House was converted into a hotel in the early 1900s, and the beautiful course squared, brown-grey limestone structure has remained a prominent attraction in Yorkshire Dales ever since.

Today, Grassington House Hotel offers guests the luxury of stunning design and modern comfort. Having recently undergone extensive renovation, the hotel’s rooms feature world-class décor, including Italian lighting and fabrics, designer furnishings, modern fixtures and fittings and remarkable views of Grassington’s lovely town square.

Grassington House Hotel features seven en suite individually designed rooms, with two suites to be unveiled in 2009. Each room is equipped with the conveniences of modern technology, including flat screen televisions with free view facility and Wi-Fi. Breakfast is served for guests in the hotel’s conservatory, and room service is available during normal restaurant operating hours. Check-in is 2:30 p.m., and check-out is 11 a.m. Both are flexible upon request. Room rates start at £75 and weekend rates start at £110 and are subject to availability. All bookings require a deposit.
