Grassington House Master Classes

If you love to eat and cook good food, or you’d simply like to watch John and learn some of his secrets, our Master Classes will inspire you.

10.30am arrival for coffee and homemade biscuits. Demonstration commences at 11.00am.

1.00pm - 3-Course lunch including a glass of wine, coffee and petit fours. £29.50 per person.

Tuesday 16th February 2010 - Dinner Party Delights
John will inspire you with ideas for a fabulous dinner party to impress your friends. From canapés to dessert. His professional tips include how to cook the perfect steak and a gorgeous sauce.

Wednesday 24th February - Delicious Desserts
John will show you how to make devine restaurant desserts at home, including the renowned Grassington House favourite, Liquorice ice cream.

Wednesday 24th March 2010 - Classic Casseroles
From Lancashire Hot Pot made with Yorkshire lamb to Coq au Vin, John will guide you through making classic stews and casseroles, offering clever tips, expert advice and tasty recipes.

Hosted by Efrem Mallol from Bodegas Ca N’Estella in Penedés The cuisine of Spain is one of John’s specialities and the kitchen team is keen to offer some Spanish flair with a series of dishes to tantalise your tast buds! You may know your Cava’s and Rioja’s, but as well as offering some traditional classics we will introduce something new to excite the world of wine from modern Spain.
